Did Former WWE Stars Returning to Impact Help Thursday’s Viewership?

As noted, last Thursday’s Impact Wrestling viewership was delayed due to the show not making the Cable Top 150 list. We now have the data.

Thursday’s Impact episode, featuring Eli Drake defeating a returning Tommy Dreamer in the main event plus the return of Impact Hall of Famer Gail Kim, drew 122,000 viewers. This is down from the previous week’s 124,000 viewers for the Thanksgiving episode.

Thursday’s show did not make the Cable Top 150. The previous week’s show ranked #104.

The Rachel Maddow Show topped the night on cable in viewership with 3.407 million viewers, ranking #8 on the Cable Top 150. The NFL Network Thursday Night Football coverage topped the night on cable in the 18-49 demographic at #1, with 3.201 million viewers. The actual NFL game between the Cowboys and the Saints drew more than 33 million viewers between the game and pre-game shows, on the Fox broadcast channel.
